Four sisters injured in Sialkot acid attack

SIALKOT: Four sisters were wounded on Thursday when unidentified persons threw acid on them in the jurisdiction of Muradpur Police Station, rescuers said.

According to police and Rescue 1122, unidentified assailants barged into the house of the victims and threw acid on them.

As a result, Afshan (20) suffered critical injuries while Amina (8), Jannat (6) and Ayesha (7) received minor injuries.

The attacker managed to flee from the scene.

Rescue 1122 rushed to the spot and brought the injured to Govt. Allama Iqbal Teaching Hospital.

Police have registered a case and launched investigations. – SAMAA
