Quetta attack: FC troops were targeted killed, says IG Ansari

QUETTA: Balochistan Police Inspector General (IG) Moazzam Jah Ansari Wednesday said the gun attack incident transpired at 8am early this morning in which four FC personnel lost their lives. 

Talking to media, the IG Ansari said the FC personnel were on routine patrolling in the area, as the area around the railway track is patrolled on daily basis.

Vowing that the terrorism will soon be curbed in Quetta, Balochistan police chief said the four FC troops were the targeted killed by the terrorists.

IG Balochistan said Quetta Safe City project is fast in progress.

Earlier this morning, four security personnel were killed when some unidentified miscreants ambushed them in Quetta.

According to police, the attack took place early this morning in Quetta area of Languabad where the unknown attackers opened fire at the vehicle of the security personnel, leaving all four dead on the spot.

The police said dead bodies were shifted to Frontier Corps Hospital Quetta. The miscreants were riding a motorbike at the time of assault, according to police. –Samaa
