HYDERABAD: The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Hyderabad chapter Thursday took out a rally, ahead of party’s October 18 public meeting, which will be addressed by its chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
The rally, which was led by the PPP MNA Shagufta Jumani, MNA Kamal Khan Chang, former Sindh Minister Zahid Bhurgari and others, passed through different areas of the city.
While addressing the rally the PPP leaders said the October 18 public meeting would be a watershed event in the political history of Hyderabad. They said the public meeting was going to attract the large number of participants. They said the PPP was organizing such a meeting in Hyderabad after a span of 10 years. They claimed that the people of Hyderabad were eagerly waiting to welcome Bilawal in the city and to listen him speak at the public meeting.
The PPP leaders said their party’s government had been serving the people of Hyderabad for last 10 years and assured of more development in the coming years.
The rally culminated at Haider Chowk area where the activists of party danced on the tune of the party songs.
