Prime Minister Imran Khan discussed future investment opportunities with Mitsubishi Corporation chief executive Kimihide Ando and his delegation in Islamabad on Tuesday.
PM Khan said that foreign investors will be offered a friendly environment to conduct business in the country, Radio Pakistan reported.
Prime Minister’s Adviser Abdul Razzak Dawood, Energy Task Force Chairperson Nadeem Babar and senior officials also attended the meeting.
Ando appreciated the cooperative government policies and talked about plans to increase production in the energy sector of Pakistan. The Japanese government will provide support to the Japanese companies in Pakistan, he said.
He also appreciated the six-decades-long cooperation of Mitsubishi Corporation with Pakistan.
